My hoilday with arlo

                                                 My Holiday with Arlo

In the holidays I went with Arlo and his family on a extreme holiday to Ratahi and stayed there for a couple of nights. It looked old compared to Stratford. It had bars on the shop windows. We were driving down a road and came to this blue school it looked like midhurst. When we arrived at the place we unpacked the car into our rooms. I was sleeping with my mom. Our  car is a big 7 seater white car.

Inside, the wooden house was really cold. We lit the fire and started to unpack more. Then we went to this restaurant and I had some chicken. Then we headed back and went to bed. The next morning we went for a big bike ride through the forest. The ride was called Old Coach Road.

After that we went to see if the eclair shop was open. When we got there it was closed. I was sad, so we went to a park. After that we went rock climbing.

Then we headed back, packed up, and started to travel to Taupo. On the way we saw the Tangiwai Disaster, and 151 people died.  

Then when we got to Taupo we went to Arlo’s bach. Then we went to the town, and went shopping, and got ice cream. Then we went to a mine water park, and McDonald and had some chicken nuggets, and played in a red aeroplane. After that we went to the park and met Sophie, Angelo and Ava.

boot camp 2018

Finally  the camp of the year is here it has been stormy, rainy and windy I hope it is not cancelled this time so I asked dad he said it was on so we drove off to school in a nice and steady pace because we were not in a  hurry. When the bell rang we got into our rotation group then we decided on our group name . After that we got our group mascot Then we started boot camp for 2018.

Are you fit enough was our first challenge the task took place on the big black and yellow playground the aim of the game was to bethe farstest group.

When we got to Te ware  went kayaking  alright said miss stark if you have not been kayaking yet come now I raced  down the green grassy hill towards miss stark, then I got a brightly coloured red life jacket and it had a bit of gray on it. It kind of  looked like larva then I waited for about 20 minuets and then I hopped in a bright red kayaking. I started to paddle away throught the narrow tunnel before I could blink I was out on a genarmous lake it was shining in the sun it was a blue big lake.after when I got to a bank I hit a tree I did not know how to reverse so hank Jamie ‘s dad told me how to stop and reverse so after that I could get stuck and know how to get out of the bush then it was time get out then Tessa came up to me and said that her mum would start walking us to the camp when we got to a Conner and a herd a wizzing sound then miss stark came racing around the Conner at a mind blowing speed I almost go flatend miss stark stoped and said to stop at the bulls so we carried on

When  we got back to camp we went to our cabin in my cabin was Jess and Haley in our cabin was  a cubed and a bunk bed and a 1 bed in the corner then some hooked on the door I really enjoyed camp if I could go back I would I like kayaking on the smooth gigantic blue lake and sleeping in the cozzie sleeping bags and racing around the playground in a hurry I really enjoy camp.

I also achieved asking for help because I knew I would not be told to go away by the adults
